Robert Cernuda joined PLM Lake and Land Management in 2000 and has since become a seasoned expert at PLM. Robert currently serves as the Senior Vice President of the Southeast & Mid-Atlantic Region from the Georgetown, South Carolina location and as a Corporate Board Member of the company. Robert has made significant contributions across all facets of the company. His extensive expertise includes management, sales, training, spray equipment design and fabrication, and airboat design and fabrication.

Robert has worked in the aquatic, ROW, and IVM industries for over 34 years. Prior to PLM, he started and operated locations for several different vegetation management companies across southern states.

Robert’s accomplishments include: Certified Welder, ACRT Electric Hazard Substation Training, Kasco Repair Training, Kasco Sales Training, SePRO Training, BASF QVM Training, Dow Training, GSA Training, and multiple scuba diving certifications (including Rescue Diver). He also holds American Sailing Association certifications and has managed state aquatic contracts, state and county DOT contracts, and large utility ROW contracts.

Robert holds multiple licenses, including aquatic and ROW licenses in FL, SC, NC, VA, and GA, as well as Series 7 and 63 financial securities licenses. Recognized for his contributions to the field, Robert received Kasco’s “Sales Growth Award” in both 2016 and 2021.

Beyond his professional achievements, Robert—known throughout the industry as Bob—has been married for over 30 years to his spouse, and they have two children. Robert enjoys motorcycling, traveling, kayak fishing, hunting, sailing, and scuba diving.
