About Patrick Selter
Vice President of Midwest Region & Corporate Board Member
Patrick Selter joined PLM Lake and Land Management in 1996, now a seasoned expert with 28 years of experience at PLM. Patrick currently serves as the Senior Vice President of Midwest Region from the Shakopee, Minnesota location and as a Corporate Board Member of the company. Patrick has made significant contributions across all facets of the company. His extensive expertise skills include staff management, pursuing new business opportunities, budget generation and maintenance, equipment construction and maintenance, contract preparation, and execution of contracted work.
In 2001, Patrick relocated from Michigan to northern Minnesota with PLM’s expansion. Most recently, he has expanded services in northern Minnesota into the Twin Cities metro area with a new local facility. Throughout Patrick’s career at PLM, he has focused on researching scientific, environmentally friendly, and economical management methods to provide effective, long-term solutions to the growing AIS problems in Minnesota. Patrick accomplishments active member of several key industry organizations, including Minnesota Lakes and Rivers Advocates, the Midwest Aquatic Plant Management Society, and the North American Lake Management Society. He also serves on the Citizens Advisory Board of the University of Minnesota’s Minnesota Aquatic Invasive Species Research Center. Recognized for his contributions to the field, Patrick was awarded “2010 Applicator of the Year” award by SePRO Corporation and holds various application licenses.
Beyond his professional achievements, Patrick enjoys spending his time with his spouse and his three children and on his spare time loves traveling, ice fishing, camping and hunting.
