Jeffrey Fischer joined PLM Lake and Land Management in 2011, now a seasoned expert with over 13 years of experience in the aquatic industry. Jeff currently serves as the Terrestrial and Project Manager of Great Lakes Region from the Morrice, Michigan location. As Terrestial Manager, Jeff oversees large and small scale terrestrial projects for local municipalities, the State of Michigan as well as private parties. Working at PLM as a Project Manager, Jeff works alongside Steve and James and his contributions to PLM are significant.

Jeffrey earned his Bachelor of Science in Fisheries Biology at Michigan State University in 2012. While at USM, Jeff played baseball at Eastern Michigan University where, as a Junior, he was drafted by the Colorado Rockies in the 10th round in 2007 and played professionally for 3 years. Jeff’s accomplishments, certificates and awards includes a certified pesticide applicator that works not only on lakes and ponds, out of our Morrice location, but also in the terrestrial field.

Beyond his professional achievements, Jeff enjoys spending time with his wife and child. Jeff is also a very avid outdoorsman, participating in Upland Bird hunts, Baseball, Golf and Fishing, competing regularly in Bass ournaments across the state and country. While off in the winter, Jeff gives baseball lessons to the local kids and likes to travel out of the state hunting with his German Shorthaired Pointer, Chipper.
