Jaimee Desjardins joined PLM Lake and Land Management in 1999, now a seasoned expert with over 25 years of experience in the aquatic industry. Jaimee currently serves as the West Michigan Regional Manager of the Great Lakes Region. As the West Michigan Regional Manager, Jaimee overseas lake management activities in West Michigan as well as water quality testing across the state. Working at PLM, Jaimee’s advanced knowledge in GIS has allowed PLM to expand their capabilities with mapping weed beds and preparing and evaluating treatments.

SJaimee earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Science at Michigan State University (MSU) in East Lansing in 1999. While at MSU, Jaimee focused her studies on Environmental Impacts and interned with the Ingham County Drain Commissioner’s Office. Jaimee has focused much of her career in water quality analysis, lake surveying/evaluation, and new technology. She is a cerfied aquatic applicator working in western Michigan managing lakes throughout the Grand Rapids Metro area to the lakeshore.

Beyond her professional achievements, Jaimee is married to her spouse and she has (3) children. Jaimee enjoys spending her free time with family, practicing yoga, paddle boarding, hiking, and volunteering at the children’s school.
