About Bre Grabil

Senior Regional Manager of Great Lakes Region

Bre Grabill joined PLM Lake and Land Management in 2002, now a seasoned expert with over 22 years of experience in the aquatic industry. Bre currently serves as Senior Regional Manager of PLM’s Northern territory in the Great Lakes Region. As Senior Regional Manager, Bre oversees the entire Northern part of the Lower Peninsula as well as Upper Peninsula and manages all of PLM’s Harvesting Department for Michigan. Working at PLM, Bre has focused her career on outreach and education and working with lake residents in protecting their lake and understanding the important balance lakes require. She has accomplishhed this by growing a trained staff that are dedicated to protecting each lake, respecting its natural ecology, while working with the residents for long term stainability.

Bre earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Studies and Applications at Michigan State Univeristy in East Lansing in 2006. While at MSU, Bre focused her studies on watershed management and limnology, studying water resources not only in Michigan but across the world in Antarctica. Growing up on an inland lake in Newaygo County, Bre has a personal and professional interest in proper lake management, aquatic plant control and the environment. Bre works directly with lake associations, residents, townships, and lake boards. She has managed some of the largest applications in the state as well as evaluating numerous new products and test. Bre’s accomplishments include Pro Certified ProcellaCOR Specialist, SePRO Water Quality Stewardship Award, SePRO Seeing is Believing Award, Patriotic Employer Award from the Office of Secretary of Defense, Above & Beyond Award from Employer Support Guard and Reserve, MEA-15 Friend of Education Award. Bre is also a co-founder and the Exective Director of Evart Promis Plus, a nonprofit to promote post-secondary education for Evart Public School graduates.

Beyond her professional achievements, Bre is married to her spouse and she has (2) children. In her spare time, Bre is involved in giving back to her local community volunterring with numerous organizations, including at community clean up days, youth sports programs, being a 4-H Club leader, Band Boosters, Sports Boosters, Evart Elementary Parents for Kids Program, and Evart Public Schools Health Clinic Advisory Committee. Bre and her family also have started a small hobby farm, K2G Family Farm, where they raise 4H Club lambs. Whenever possible, Bre enjoys the lake life; fishing, skiing, kayaking, swimming and relaxing in Michigan’s natural beauty.
