Southwestern Michigan Regional Manager of Great Lakes Region

Andy Tomaszewski joined PLM Lake and Land Management in 2001, now a seasoned expert with over 23 years of experience in the aquatic industry. Andy currently serves as the Southwestern Michigan Regional Manager of Great Lakes Region. As Southwestern Michigan Regional Manager, Andy oversees all lake projects in Southwestern Michigan. Working at PLM, Andy has focused on setting up lake management programs through special assessment districts, lake associations, and residents.

Andy earned his Bachelor of Science Degree in Natural Resources and Environmental Studies at University of Michigan in Ann Arbor in 2000. While at U-M Ann Arbor, Andy was studying at the biological station on Douglas Lake near Pellston, Michigan and this is where he began to focus his career in Aquatics. Andy’s accomplishments include working on numerous evaluation treatments, including a project involving the use of Sonar A.S. He played a key role in determining the best protocols for its application in Michigan waters. Andy has worked to address residential concerns in lakes while balancing best practices and ecological decisions.

Beyond his professional achievements, Andy is married to his spouse and he has (2) children. Andy is devoted to his family and two boys, including coaching footall when they where young. He is an avid sportsman, enjoys hunting, fishing and spending time at the lake.
