Jeff Fischer
Terrestrial Manager of the Great Lakes Region
Jeffrey Fischer joined PLM Lake and Land Management in 2011 and has since become a seasoned expert in the aquatic industry. Jeff currently serves as the Terrestrial and Project Manager of the Great Lakes Region from the Morrice, Michigan, location.
As Terrestrial Manager, Jeff oversees large- and small-scale terrestrial projects for local municipalities, the State of Michigan, as well as private parties. As a Project Manager at PLM, Jeff works alongside Steve and James, and his contributions to PLM are significant.
Jeffrey earned his Bachelor of Science in Fisheries Biology at Michigan State University in 2012. While at MSU, Jeff played baseball at Eastern Michigan University, where—as a junior—he was drafted by the Colorado Rockies in the 10th round in 2007 and played professionally for three years.
Jeff’s accomplishments, certificates, and awards include being a certified pesticide applicator who works not only on lakes and ponds out of our Morrice location, but also in the terrestrial field.
Beyond his professional achievements, Jeff enjoys spending time with his wife and child. He is also a very avid outdoorsman, participating in upland bird hunts, baseball, golf, and fishing, and competing regularly in Bass tournaments across the state and country. While off in the winter, Jeff gives baseball lessons to local kids and enjoys traveling out of state to hunt with his German Shorthaired Pointer, Chipper.
